Meat meat everywhere!!

Woke up on Sunday Morning, in a happy relaxed mood! Knew I didn't have to cook today, we were invited out for lunch. So got brekkie ready, and devoured it with the kids and was soon off to the sink to wash up while everyone else got ready to go out.

Found my doggie showing a lot of interest in my little freezer which was packed with meat and veggies and god knows what!!lol! So quickly had a peek and what do I find.......my freezer was off!! aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrghhhh!! So there I saw packets of thawed out, meat , veg and fish ......there goes my happy mood!! So got down to cleaning out the freezer, and deciding whether to cook or not. Gosh I had to be somewhere in half an hour so what do I do Now!! Dilemma Dilemma!!

Quickly got out all the meat, soon my stove had chicken mince and bones boiling for my doggie, pork chops boiled on the next burner, ready to make chilli pork tomorrow,maybe, a huge stock pot full of beef n pork mine, in goes ginger, garlic ,chopped onion n salt, boiling away so it gets cooked and I can then make some patties or cutlets or whatever!

Now what on earth was I gonna do with nearly 3 kilos of chicken. Not much of a fan for chicken here in OZ, the blandest meat unless its marinated to make yummy kebabs.But who's cooking Kebabs on a week night that too so much, so my chicken lies in my fridge till tonight, hoping I get hit with a great recipe or else it's going straight to the bin!!

So today I will head home, ready to do a massive cookout, of beef patties/cutlets, pork stir fry...and chicken god knows what!!

Speaking of  meat, the good thing about the rest of the day was we met up with my cousins, so 3 couples with kids in tow spent a lovely sunday lunch which went onto nearly 8 pm.
